Gemini Summer is an awesome book! It has a sad death in it, but if you keep reading it you'll find that it is a really good book. It's about two kids that love rockets and dogs and they get bullied by a kid on their way to school everyday. I really reccomend this book to you. THIS BOOK ROCKS!

Fiona from berlin says:
This book is a very sad book. I don't really like it because someone dies. If you don't like sad books then don't read it. Besides the death it was pretty good.

This is by far my favorite DCF book. It was soooo interesting! Read this book, but one person dies but DONT let it stop you from reading it! I literally finished it in like 3 days! It is so descriptive, it is about 2 boys,Danny and his brother. They are just playing a game when something tragic happens. Shortly after there is a dog that shows up at there door. Then her mother decides to take care of the poor thing, for its paws are literally fading away from walking so much. So there mother takes him in only until he is back to normal, But once it is time to give him to the shelter Danny does something that will shock all who have thought they really understood him...

*PLEASE* READ THE BEST BOOK THERE IS!!
(This Book)

This is more a comment to the staff or administrators of the DCF organization - One of the things that got me hooked in the first place is the tradgedy, here on dfc they give a different blurb that gives the main event of the book away! I would change this!

I loved this book! Many other avid readers said the sadness of this book ruined it, I would however disagree. I felt that the tradgedy that befalls the main character is what hooked me (at least partially), I enjoyed first learning how his life was before the event, then how he deals with it after. I also believe if you read this book you will definetly enjoy the ending.

Gemini Summer was one of the best books I ever read.
I loved how a boy would do so much for his brother/dog.
I mean traveling so far across the states to meet one man who said he would help Bo anytime.
I would suggest that everyone read this book. It's amazing.
