Looking forward to a vacation, Katie, Lily and Jasper attach their flying Gyroscopic Sky Suite to Moose Tongue Lodge and Resort, where they mingle with other child heroes found in books, and where they become embroiled in a mystery involving lederhosen-clothed quintuplets and a screaming ventriloquist.
Grades 5 and up.

Quite frankly, I don't know how this book got on the list. It's got to be one of the most disjointed, almost incoherent books I have ever read. It might appeal to a 3rd grader, but not to an older student.
Mr. Tierney's class at Calais Elementary School doesn't agree with the first comment. We loved it! We thought it was hilarious. Our librarian thinks it's great that there are a few funny books on the list along with all the serious ones.
I agree with donna about how this book got on the list. i thought this book was dull from the cover, but like they say,"you can't jugde a book by the cover" the book was worst then it looks. I don't think this book will win. No offense M. T. Anderson.
I think it was ok because there was not enough mystery and adventure.
I also agree with Donna this book was boring and I barely stayed hooked! Now that I think about it, I only read it to so that I could read all of the DCF books!
I agree with the first comment. Although, quite funny at some points, this book's plot is quite boring. The obscurity of this book is also quite striking; Parts of this book appear as if they could be realistic whereas many other parts do not. The plot of the book slowly fizzled, leavening almost no mystery for the reader to figure out themself.
This book in my eyes should not be on the list it is pretty boring and just plain weird, Another book should have taken its place. This should not be for older kids or any one at all but people that like wacky mysteries might just like this book.
I dont think that this book is as good as the others, but could be liked in the younger age groups
