As I read this book, I couldn't help but wonder if Maud would have been better off staying in the orphanage. Was her life really better when she became part of deception? Read it to find out.

When I was reading "A Drowned Maidens Hair" i couldn't put it down!!!! It was very interesting and like what Mrs. Goddhue said I couldn't help but wonder if Maud would have been better off staying in the outhouse instead of going with the so called "sayounces"

I liked this book. What I liked about it was that it was about a girl who had drowned and she had visited Maud in her dreams.

this book shows that telling the truth always pays off. if you are aware that your actions are hurting other people do something don't just wait till its to late.remember that other peoples feeling are just as important.

A Drowned Maiden's Hair was amazingly good. It was the kind of book that you promise yourself one more page and end up reading fifteen before you realize.

This book is weird in a REALLY good way. I feel like the book was kind of creepy, but the author knew what she was doing. But over all, I think that she is a really good writer.

I LOVED this book!!! It was one of the best DCF books (along with Gemini Summer). PLeASE dont let the number of pages fool you, and besides the font is pretty big. It is about an orphan named Maud. Maud gets adopted by sisters. It is a VERY touching book and I truly hope that it gets the DCF award. PLEASE read this book!!

*This can Be the Future DCF of this year*
