On a travelling book tour
Each year kids in Vermont, grades 4 to 8, are encouraged to read books from a list of 30 titles. In April, kids throughout Vermont vote on their favorite title, & the book that receives the most votes is the winner of the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Book Award. Here follows the list for 2007/08. Read some or read them all. Post your thoughts here!

Who is Dorothy Canfield Fisher?
Dorothy Canfield Fisher (1879-1958) was a very busy author who published a lot of books for adults and children from the early 1900s through the 1950s. She lived in Vermont but her books were popular worldwide!
